The Road to Racing

The Road to Racing

Cycle Capital - Amsterdam

At CIOVITA, we believe cycling represents far more than the apparel you wear. It embodies dedication, progress, and the pursuit of excellence, both on and off the bike. This is why we are proud to support Cycle Capital and their Race Development Training programme. Our role as their apparel partner reflects our commitment to fostering talent and promoting growth within the global cycling community. As we expand internationally, partnerships like these enable us to contribute meaningfully to the sport’s future.

Cycle Capital’s Race Development Training offers aspiring riders the opportunity to take their cycling to the next level. Designed for both women and men, the programme welcomes those looking to make the step towards competitive cycling, whether they are starting fresh or transitioning from other sports such as skating, rowing, triathlon or hockey. With the guidance of experienced trainers, participants benefit from structured, safe sessions that build technical skills and racing confidence.

Every Tuesday evening, cyclists gather at the closed Zwanenburg circuit near Amsterdam. Here, they refine techniques such as cornering, group riding, and race tactics, while practice races help them apply these lessons under competitive conditions. For those who are ready, opportunities extend to official competitions in the Netherlands and beyond, as well as the chance to join a dedicated training camp once a certain level is reached.

Our collaboration with Cycle Capital goes beyond supplying high-performance apparel. It is about supporting initiatives that nurture resilience, skill, and passion in cycling’s next generation. As CIOVITA continues its global journey, we are inspired to play a small part in helping riders unlock their potential and strive for more.

remstalriders - Stuttgart

While competitive racing and development programmes play a vital role in growing the sport, cycling’s magic often lies in its ability to bring people together, simply for the joy of riding. That is exactly what remstalriders represent. Based in the greater Stuttgart area, this road cycling team reminds us that fun, community and shared passion are at the heart of it all.

The team is not defined by podiums or pressure. Their focus is on connection. Whether through their regular group rides or their light-hearted hard ride soft drink tradition, they have built a welcoming space where riders of all levels can come together. It is about the experience on the road, the stories shared at the roadside and the friendships forged over a well-earned Coke or orange soda.

What makes remstalriders so inspiring is the way they share their knowledge and enthusiasm through every kilometre. Their weekly rides are as much about passing on expertise and advice as they are about the miles covered. By creating an inclusive, positive environment, they continue to grow cycling’s community spirit and encourage more people to discover the simple, lasting joy of life on two wheels.

Fly Collective Cycling Team - Johannesburg

As we look at how cycling development is gaining momentum internationally, it is equally inspiring to see how road racing is being championed here at home. This is where our long-standing ambassadors, Fly Collective Cycling Team, play such a vital role.

Founded in 2024 in Johannesburg by Kent Main, Fly Collective began as RKC Collective, a group of riders united by their love of the sport and a commitment to excellence. Now, as Fly Collective Cycling Team, powered by Fly.Cool, they have grown into one of South Africa’s leading road cycling teams. Their mission is clear. Fly Collective is determined to keep professional road cycling alive in South Africa, to nurture young talent and to give back through community rides and events that welcome cyclists of all levels.

What we admire most is that their focus goes far beyond chasing victories. The team’s approachable nature and passion for the sport help make cycling more accessible, creating a space where seasoned riders and newcomers alike feel encouraged and supported. With fresh energy, greater resources and a vision for the future, Fly Collective is helping to showcase the incredible talent South Africa has to offer.

At CIOVITA, we are proud to stand alongside Fly Collective, just as we are with Cycle Capital, in helping to shape the future of road racing. Together, these partnerships reflect our global expansion and our commitment to supporting cycling excellence, building communities and inspiring riders to discover how far they can go.
